Police in Chatra have seized properties worth over Rs 84 lakh belonging to alleged opium trader Rajesh Kumar alias Rajesh Dangi. The action, taken under the NDPS Act with NCB assistance, marks the first such confiscation of an opium trafficker’s assets in Jharkhand. Further crackdowns on other traffickers are anticipated.
