Can caffeine help manage your headaches?

Caffeine offers a double-edged sword for headaches. In moderate doses, it constricts blood vessels, easing tension and migraine pain. However, excessive intake can trigger or worsen headaches, leading to a condition known as caffeine overuse headache. Abruptly stopping caffeine also causes withdrawal.
