Security has been heightened across Jammu region including the Mata Vaishno Devi cave shrine and its base camp Katra. This follows a blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. Vigilance has also increased along railway tracks and the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. A high alert is in effect. Top police officials conducted security checks in Katra and Jammu city.
