Sheikh Hasina was found guilty of war crimes by the International Crimes Tribunal 15 months after resigning and fleeing to India in the face of a student-led uprising that left at least 1,400 dead. Hasina, who is currently in India, has denied the allegations against her, calling the verdict “biased and politically motivated.”
