Australian teens under 16 will soon be blocked from Instagram, Facebook, and Threads as Meta implements the country’s new social media law. Starting December 4th, accounts for users aged 13-15 will be deactivated, with the process concluding by December 10th. This move makes Meta the first tech giant to comply with the stringent regulations aimed at protecting minors online.
