Eleven bulls and cows were killed when a speeding lorry ploughed through a herd of cattle on Tenkasi – Madurai Highway in the early hours of Saturday. Police said a speeding brick-laden lorry ploughed through the cattle when they were being taken for grazing via Tenkasi – Madurai Highway by Pechiyappan of Viswanathaperi near Tenkasi.
