RARE! US-Russia Crew Blasts Off In Soyuz MS-28 On 8-Month Journey To ISS

A Russian Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft has successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, carrying two Russian cosmonauts and one NASA astronaut to the International Space Station. The Soyuz 2.1a rocket lifted off at 12:28 pm Moscow time, beginning a journey that includes two Earth orbits before docking with the ISS. The crew will spend the next eight months in orbit conducting research and station operations.
