Faced with daily notices for suspension of listed business, VP cites grounds for rejection

Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan clarified Rule 267 usage. He stated notices are dismissed for not following format or discussing unrelated matters. Rule 267 is for rare cases and only for listed business. Since 2000, no discussions occurred under Rule 267 without consensus. Other parliamentary devices can raise urgent issues.
