Union Minister Nitin Gadkari told the Lok Sabha that India’s electric vehicle market is projected to reach Rs 20 lakh crore by 2030, with the sector capable of generating nearly five crore jobs. He also highlighted rapid growth in EV sales, falling battery prices and new lithium reserves in J&K.
