The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested Shafat Ahmad Shungloo in Srinagar. He is wanted in connection with the 1989 kidnapping of Rubaiyya Sayeed, daughter of the then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. Shungloo allegedly conspired with Yasin Malik and others. He carried a reward of ₹10 lakh. He will be produced before the TADA court in Jammu.
