At G20 Summit, PM Modi Proposes Global Knowledge, Skills, Health And Security Initiatives For Future

In a powerful intervention at the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid out four strategic initiatives that position India as a central architect of global development. The proposed Global Traditional Knowledge Repository aims to preserve indigenous wisdom on sustainable living. The Africa Skills Multiplier Initiative focuses on capacity-building through a train-the-trainers model to produce one million certified trainers across Africa. Modi also called for setting up a Global Healthcare Response Team to ensure coordinated emergency action during pandemics and disasters. He further urged G20 nations to unite against the drug-terror nexus, calling for decisive action to disrupt trafficking networks and dangerous substances like fentanyl. The proposals reflect India’s commitment to civilisational values, inclusive development and global solidarity.
