At a Sindhi Samaj event in Delhi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused previous governments of denying rights to minorities fleeing violence and forced conversions in neighbouring countries. He said the Modi government introduced the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to support communities that truly needed protection, emphasising their long-standing suffering and lack of compassionate treatment.
