Chennai and various coastal districts in Tamil Nadu are preparing for severe rainfall as Cyclone Ditwah approaches. Already, heavy showers have disrupted daily life, causing flooding and three fatalities. The cyclone is currently located about 180 km from Chennai and is expected to move northwards. Forecasts indicate potential heavy rain, particularly from late night into morning, affecting numerous districts. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid flooded areas.
