Delhi and neighbouring NCR cities have announced coordinated measures, including anti-smog guns, mechanised sweepers and rapid pothole repairs, after a multi-state meeting on pollution chaired by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav. The steps come as Delhi’s air quality plunges into the ‘very poor’ and ‘severe’ categories, with several areas recording AQI levels above 400.
