The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has withdrawn a mistakenly republished cybersecurity notification. The original amended Telecom Cyber Security (TCS) Amendment Rules, 2025 — which introduced a mobile-number-validation platform to check identity fraud and device misuse — remains fully in force.
