With just weeks to go before the local body elections in the State, factionalism within the Communist Party of India in Pathanamthitta has come to a head with Sreenadevi Kunjamma, a district panchayat member and State committee member of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF), on Monday announcing her resignation from the post.
