India and Bahrain initiated negotiations for a major trade deal and investment pact. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and Bahraini counterpart Alzayani discussed CEPA, DTAA, defence, security, trade diversification, and strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
