Amazon has started sending $51 Prime settlement payments from the FTC’s $2.5 billion case. Refunds began on November 12 and will continue through December 24. Eligible users are U.S. Prime members who enrolled between June 23 2019 and June 23 2025 through the challenged sign-up flow and used three or fewer benefits in a year. Payments arrive by email via PayPal or Venmo. Ignoring the email triggers a mailed check that must be cashed within 60 days. Those missing payments can file claims in 2026.
