Mumbai’s major water pipeline connection at the Amar Mahal underground tunnel has overshot its planned 30-hour schedule due to technical complications. The work, originally scheduled to conclude by Tuesday afternoon, will now continue till 10 PM. Once completed, water supply will be restored in phases across several South, Central and Eastern city divisions, gradually normalising distribution.
