Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman strongly objected to TMC MP Saugata Roy’s remarks about her speaking in Hindi. Sitharaman pointed out that translation services are available in the Lok Sabha. She suggested Roy’s objection was a diversion from the Health Security and National Security Cess Bill. The bill aims to create dedicated resources for health and national security.
