The Calcutta High Court has overturned a previous order that cancelled the jobs of 32,000 primary school teachers in West Bengal. A division bench ruled that innocent teachers should not suffer for administrative faults. The court stated that these teachers, who have been employed for about nine years, will retain their positions.
