Police in Nurpur arrested Shubhkaran, the alleged kingpin of an inter-state drug ring, in Chandigarh. His arrest followed the seizure of 6.044 kg of charas and the arrest of three individuals from Mandi district. Shubhkaran has a history of drug-related offenses.
