BJP Plans national Campaign on Union price Range to highlight pro-people Measures

The BJP will launch a 12-day nationwide campaign on Wednesday to raise awareness of the pro-people measures to be announced in the Union Budget.

Sushil Modi, a senior BJP leader, will coordinate the campaign, ending on February 12.

According to reports, BJP President J P Nadda has formed a task force of nine members, including party general secretary Sunil Bansal and the heads of the party's farmer and youth wings, to organize discussions, press conferences, or seminars on the Union Budget in all districts across the country.

On Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will show the Union Budget for 2023-24 in Parliament.

As part of the campaign, chief ministers from all BJP-ruled states will hold press conferences a day after the Union Budget is presented in Parliament, party leaders said, adding that in states where the party is not in authority, BJP unit authorities and leaders of the opposition in the assembly will have press conferences.

Ministers from the Narendra Modi regime will hold press conferences in 50 central cities to emphasize the pro-people steps declared in the Union Budget.

Following the budget presentation, the BJP is expected to hold a meeting of its spokespersons.

The task force formed for the BJP's Union Budget campaign met at the BJP headquarters on Monday to finalize programs and decide on the blueprint.

This Union Budget will be the last full-fledged budget of Narendra Modi's second term, as general elections will be held in 2024. As a result, the ruling BJP at the Centre wishes to capitalize on this campaign.

Previously, the BJP organized nationwide public awareness campaigns to inform people about the various reforms and initiatives announced by the Modi government in its budgets.
