 In a landmark event that marks a new chapter in India's cultural and religious history, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today led the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The ceremony, a consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla, is a profound and emotional moment for the nation, as stated by the Prime Minister.

At 12:36 IST, PM Modi, along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, unveiled the Ram Lalla idol at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, followed by paying their respects. This event marks the culmination of years of anticipation and planning, signifying a historic moment for Ayodhya and the entire country.

In a simultaneous event, BJP leaders organized a special Pooja at Rameswaram Sankara Math to commemorate this auspicious day. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and other prominent figures.

The ceremony was further enhanced by the cultural touch, as army helicopters showered flowers over Ayodhya, and 30 artists played different Indian musical instruments at the temple premises during the Aarti. The event witnessed representatives from various spiritual and religious sects, tribal communities, and people from all walks of life.

Dressed in a traditional golden kurta and cream dhoti, PM Modi took the 'sankalp' for the consecration and later addressed the gathering, marking a moment of great significance in Indian history. The Prime Minister's visit also included interactions with workers involved in the temple's construction.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony was also marked by cultural performances, including renditions of verses from Ramcharitmanas by renowned singers like Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal, and Shankar Mahadevan, setting a spiritual ambiance.

Security in Ayodhya was tightened with multi-layered arrangements, including 10,000 CCTV cameras and AI-powered drones, to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The streets of Ayodhya wore a festive yet controlled look, with residents and visitors keenly following the proceedings.

This event not only signifies the consecration of a temple but also the realization of a long-held dream for many in India. It represents a blend of faith, tradition, and modernity, marking a significant milestone in the country's cultural narrative.
