Abu Dhabi-based Lulu Group opened its Lulu Mall, India's biggest mall. This mall was inaugurated on July 10, Sunday by the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In India, there are other three branches in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Bengaluru. It was opened in Lucknow's Sushant Golf City. Indian-origin billionaire Yusuff Ali MA, LuLu Group chairman, was also present.

The controversy against LuLu Mall was raised after more than half a dozen people read namaz on mall premises. The video got viral on social media. People said that those people are from mall staff. But the general manager of the mall, Sameer Verma, said mall floor staff and security staff are guided to keep an eye on such actions. The FIR was lodged in Sushant Golf City police station by the mall's Public Relations Manager, Sibtain Hussain. In the FIR, he said some unknown people came to the mall on July 12 and offered prayers without consent. The Hindu group proclaimed that 70% of the mall staff are Muslim, and by accomplishing this, they are practicing love jihad.
According to the law, nobody has any right to offer prayers or do religious activities in public areas. It is a criminal offense. Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha protested outside the mall and wanted to boycott the mall to Hindu communities.
Now, the Hindu community people want to read Hanuman Chalisa and Sunderkand in front of the mall. CM Yogi Adityanath is also trolled on social media by the users. He was framed because he inaugurated the mall. FIR filed againt the individual shown in the video.
