Private weather analyst Delta Weatherman Hemachandar has stated that the low-pressure system is unlikely to intensify into a deep depression and will remain a low-pressure area over the next 24 hours near Chennai. As a result, very heavy rainfall is expected in Chennai and Tiruvallur by tomorrow morning.
