Investigating officers probing the Red Fort bombing received suspicious calls and a WhatsApp message from a fake account (“Drishti”) containing a malware-laced ZIP file traced to Pakistan. The file aimed to install a Trojan virus. Police advised caution; no devices have been compromised yet. The accused used the encrypted app Threema.
