A sarpanch’s social media video criticizing a poorly constructed road in Punjab led to action. The secretary of Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board terminated an outsourced junior engineer and charged a sub-divisional engineer. The 10.12 km road is being built at a cost of Rs 1.82 crore.
