SC seeks report on Delhi air quality

The Supreme Court has asked the Commission for Air Quality Management for a report on Delhi’s air quality. This comes after most air quality monitoring stations were found shut during Diwali. The court’s direction follows a submission that only nine out of 37 stations were functioning. Delhi’s air quality worsened significantly after the recent Diwali celebrations.
