Salaam-e-Ishq, Dil Bole Hadappa,The girl on train are some of the famous bollywood which are blatantly copied from hollywood. The other side of the coin is even Hollywood is found making a remake of many famous Bollywood movies taking it as inspiration.
Some of the movies inspired by bollywood are:
Just go with it - Maine pyaar kyun kiya
Salman khan and Sushmita Sen did a movie in 2005 widely known as Maine pyaar kyun kiya. In which Samir lies to his girlfriend, Sonia, that he is in an unhappy marriage. However, when he actually falls in love with her, she requests him to meet his estranged wife, putting him in a predicament sound similar to the story of just go with it in which Adam Sandler plays a successful plastic surgeon in the 2011 film, who flirts with women by lying about his unhappy marriage.
Fear - Darr
Darr the movie helped Sharuk Khan gain worldwide recognition in which he was seen as a stalker of Juhi Chawal. In the movie he even carves her name “Kiran” on his chest. Three years later even Mark Wahlberg did the exact same thing in which he craved name “Nicole” on his chest in his film. However the film was little different from bollywood.
