Hollywood actor gets catfished by father, father pretended to be

Many Hollywood films come out of inspiration from personal experience, but really they are of being catfished by your family. Hollywood actor and filmmaker James Morosini opened up about the inspiration behind his new film I love my dad that has fans shocked.

Catfishing refers to internet slang when a person creates a fake identity that is attractive and exciting as a post to their real-life 2 and traps people. 8 January refers to when a person is scammed for money, training to be friends with a fake person in the media. 

"A version of I Love My Dad actually happened to me," James Morosini said. "My dad and I got into a big fight and I decided to just cut him off of social media and everything else. I got home one day and this really pretty girl sent me a friend request online. I was very excited and this story was born."

 "I discovered that it was my dad. He had basically created this whole profile as a way of making sure that I was okay. And that served as the kernel for the story,"

The movie debuted at SXSW film festival 2022, it is a story of a father trying to connect with his son through the use of social media. The father pretended to be a girl so that his son would show trust and you would talk and rekindle the relationship.
