Jammu and Kashmir added a new tourist attraction to the list of amazing things to do when visiting the most beautiful place. igloos are fascinating, but an igloo cafe is even better.
37.5 feet tall and 44.5 feet in diameter, the igloo cafe is claimed to be the largest in all the largest ever created. The owner of the igloo Syed Wasim Shah named this fascinating cafe 'Snowglu'.
“I saw this concept in Switzerland a few years back where they have such hotels, which are equipped with sleeping facilities as well. I thought Gulmarg sees a lot of snow and why not start this concept here,” said Syed Wasim Shah, the creator of the igloo.
According to the report, the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest igloo cafe is 33.8 feet and diameter 42.4 feet.
The cafe is completely built out of snow. The furniture inside is also built of snow. Upon entering the cafe, you can order hot food and beverages.
The cafe has space for 10 tables that seat 4 people per table. therefore the table can provide for 40 people in one sitting.
The cafe took 64 days to be completed with 25 individuals constructing the cafe.
