Taking a screenshot from Facebook messenger chat will now give the user the notification

Facebook messenger has now dated a new feature. As per the latest updates, the user will now get a notification if one of the two people in the conversation takes the screenshot.

To guarantee better security of the information chat in a private conversation, Facebook has now allowed people to get notified when the user takes a screenshot.

“Today, we’re announcing updates for Messenger’s opt-in end-to-end encrypted chats that will help improve your messaging experience. Building secure and fun interactive features takes time and requires our engineers to innovate and solve technical challenges, so this is part of a series of product updates as we keep improving our services. With cybercrime and hacking on the rise, it’s more important than ever to find great ways to connect with friends and family through private and secure communications.” said Product Manager, Timothy Buck.

More features are introduced in the update, including a vanishing feature that will make the chat disappear after all the users have read the message.

Above that, the user will also be allowed to respond to the message with a range of stickers and reactions. Previously this feature was available only on Instagram chat.

Now, this feature will add more advanced experience in chatting to the meta product.

In the past META has allowed disappearing chat features to Whatsapp. These include the "view once only" feature to the image sharing.
