London: Buckingham Palace has been a symbolic resident and headquarters of the royal family for years. The monarch of the United Kingdom has worked from this place for decades. The estate is surrounded by gardens and every year thousands of people visit the palace and the garden each year to admire the architecture of the monument.
The good news comes from London when the official authority announces that the Buckingham palace garden is open for public visits again, since being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now the general public and tourists are welcomed in the gardens of the London residence of the queen.
The 39-acre grounds I now open for public viewing for a 16.50 pounds ticket till September. "We sadly haven’t been able to open the staterooms this year because of the current (coronavirus) situation as we might ordinarily have done and therefore it’s wonderful to be able to open the garden instead," Sally Goodsir, from the Royal Collection Trust which manages the royal palaces, told media.
The whole property is located in Westminster city and is adorned with a wide variety of plants, trees, and shrubs. The man-made lake is also a source of attraction and photo opportunity for all visitors. Traditionally the queen holds three annual parties in the garden which have been canceled in the last two years due to the pandemic. The revenue collected for tourism is used in the maintenance of the place and the garden only.
Trusts can visit the place all the hours throughout the week.
