EGYPT
Egypt is not a good place for women, whether she is a traveler or a local. This country has a reputation for sexual harassment and assaults against women. A study states that 99% of the women in this country got harassed at some point in their life. This country ranked as the 10th worst place for street safety with poor marriage and divorce laws and poor government representation.
INDIA
In the list of countries for the gender inequality category, India ranked 50. India has enormous risks than other countries, like more staring, unwanted attention, and harassment. Gender disparity and negative attitudes in this country toward women is the reason for their unsafety towards women.
MALAYSIA
With gender equality and poor ratings for intimate partner violence, Malaysia lies in 11th place on the list of unsafe countries for female travelers. It is a place of Muslims in the majority, so there is a chance that you have to follow a dress code. The rural part of the country ranked as dangerous for solo women.
MOROCCO
Morocco ranked as the worst country on the list of intimate partner violence and has poor ratings for gender inequality and the global gender gap. The streets of this country also got ranked as dangerous one. Like India, women can go through a lot of unwanted attention.
UNITED STATES
The US ranks 19th on the list of unsafe countries. This country has bad scores on street safety, non-partner sexual violence, and gender inequality.
Some other countries unsafe for women travelers are Mexico, Colombia, South Africa, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, etc. This article will help the women decide which country to travel to by keeping safety concerns and tips in mind.
