Mumbai: Traffic police now can not stop the vehicle in traffic without reason. Commissioner of Police, Hemant Nagrale issues a notice in the event of traffic complaints.
The traffic on roads in Mumbai has been affected due to random checking of the vehicles. The traffic problem of traffic is of concern for many Mumbaikars. The traffic police were stopping and checking the cars without any reason or suspicion. This would stop all the other cars in the traffic and create a problem for all the drivers.
With this new notice, the drivers will not be harassed by the traffic police. The police can now only stop the car on the basis of suspicion of any abnormal activity, or if the driver breaks any traffic rule.
Actions will be taken on the police personnel in case of unabiding of the rule by the police personnel.
