Aadhar card is a mandatory document required for any action in the public or private sector. The card itself contains information related to the cardholder such as their name, date of birth, permanent address, father's name along with a unique identity number.
The special blue Aadhar card is made for children under the age of five. The color for adults or children above the age of five is while. The blue Aadhar card is called the Bal Aadhar card. They are used as a primary identification document for children below the age of five.

What is the difference:
Apart from the difference in colors, the Bal Aadhar card is very different from the normal Aadhar card. The Bal Aadhar card is specially designed for toddlers. The children who are the applicant of the card are still growing and developing, therefore the biometric system is not available for them.
The kids below the age of 5 do not need to verify with a biometric system that is part of the adult proceeds. This simply means the ball Aadhar card does not require an iris scan and fingerprint verification.
Biometrics are not developed for children before 5 years of age. Hence, a child's Aadhaar data does not include biometric info like fingerprints and Iris scan. Once the child crosses 5, biometrics need to be updated. #AadhaarForMyChild pic.twitter.com/sdlQTG1Jqr
