Delhi: The e-FIR application allows to lodge FIR from anywhere

Delhi police have introduced a more convenient and faster method for Delhiites to lodge FIR against house theft and burglary through an online e-FIR platform.

Delhi Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said that the online FIR facility will allow the crime to be reported in a timely manner, with more accuracy. delay in reporting can lead to many details being lost and incarnate reporting of the missing objects.

The victim of the crime can easily report the incident without the requirement to line up at the police station. The victim also gets a digital copy of the document at the registered email address. one copy will each be sent to a senior official at the nearest police station, SHO, designated court, and nearest police station.
